Camp Warner Park is unique because of our emphasis on developing independence, a sense of exploration and creativity in our campers. Their small groups will travel through the park with their counselor and their lunches and they are empowered to shape their schedule for the day. This will require cooperation within the group and with the guidance of their counselors, we know that our campers will learn and thrive.
Another special feature of Camp Warner Park is our access to 3,132 acres of forest and fields! Our daily schedule is designed around outdoor play. Engaging with nature has many benefits such as decreased stress, lowering anxiety and preventing obesity. Come join us this summer!
2015 Themes: Wet & Wild, Feathered Friends, Amazing Animals, Forest Fun
Every week of Nature Day Camp will feature popular activities such as creek exploration, hiking and Nature Center programs, regardless of the theme. Themes enhance the schedule with new crafts, games and activities to keep campers engaged. A short description of each theme can be found here.
